All who proclaim to be a Christian are charged with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Some feel called to perform this duty in their own backyard, while others are drawn to foreign fields. It is not a matter of where you do it, just that it is done.
AIM1040 invites those called to share their faith in a cross-cultural setting to pray about joining a short or long-term team.
Short-Term
Long-Term
Short-term vision trips last an average of 12 days. The primary purpose of the short-term trip is to work with missionaries already in the field doing street evangelism, church planting, discipleship, red-light district ministry, assisting the Mission Training Center, and/or serving in a large-scale crusade we call Jesus Festival.
The recommended path for a new long-term missionary is to attend Synergy Bible College (or equivalent), then the Mission Training Center intensive course, complete a 10-12 month internship, and then work with our field coordinators for a 2+ year placement in the field.
More Opportunities
Whether praying about making missions a full-time lifestyle on the field or from your own home town, chances are, we have the opportunity for you.
The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed.
